Henna Body Art

Come get a spirited Henna Art Design by artist, Aurora Persephone. She will be creating some beautiful Henna body art designs for patrons in the Hotel Lobby from 11am-5pm. Henna, unlike tattoos, which are permanent, is a temporary reddish dye prepared from the dried and powdered leaves of the henna tree. This dye is applied on the skin’s surface in designs. After henna stains reach their peak color, it typically fades within one to three weeks. Cost varies depending on design.

Introduction to Remote Viewing

Join certified Clairvoyant Medium, Jerry McDaniel as he guides you through the journey of the mind in this interactive workshop of Remote Viewing.  Remote viewing (RV) is the practice of using the mind to gain impressions about a distant or hidden subject. The goal is to provide information about a person, event, location, or object that is not physically visible or within reach.  Jerry will explain in detail the history of RV and how remote viewing works. He will discuss two true case studies and the results and lead the class through an exercise to assist in finding a person.  Other hands-on remote viewing exercises include locating specific hidden objects within the hotel using clairvoyance or extrasensory perception impressions that can come in the form of images, feelings, sounds, or abstract symbols. In this hands-on workshop taught by Jada Bryson, participants will design and create their own miniature fairy garden using charming details, tiny accessories, and a touch of magic. You’ll explore balance, storytelling, and design as you bring your enchanted scene to life.

This class is perfect for all ages and skill levels—no prior experience needed. Trance-Formation: A Sound Journey

Join sitar and native flute player Rick de Yampert for Trance-Formation: A Sound Journey.  After a brief introduction exploring the cosmic mechanics of sacred sound (the perfect 5^th interval, the mystic physics of music, the Hindu Om and more), Rick will present a continuous, 45-minute sound journey into bliss, trance and transformation via ethereal techno-tribal music played on sitar, Native American flutes, frame drum, crystal singing bowls, metal and wooden tongue drums, world percussion, digital tabla, loops, synth and-or spoken word.

The goal of this sound journey is to alter your consciousness so you can “altar” your consciousness – quieten what the Buddhists call the constantly jabbering “monkey mind” so that you can enter a trance state, open your Third Eye and journey to Spirit. Please bring a blanket or yoga mat, and some sort of pillow or headrest. Alternately, patrons may sit in one of the chairs or the sofa in the Hotel Cassadaga séance room. Patrons may choose to trance journey with their eyes closed, bring pen and paper for journaling or spirit writing/drawing, or just listen and chillax. Cost is $25 cash and held at Hotel Cassadaga. Jennie Angell is a Psychic Medium and Reiki Master, following meditation and Metaphysics for over 45 years. She has studied with spiritual teachers from all around the world as well as several years in Cassadaga. She has received her Mediumship Certification from Delphi University.
